PXL Vision as Identity Proofing Service Provider (IPSP) for Swisscom platform
We are currently undergoing the certification process to become a certified Identity Proofing Service Provider (IPSP). Our upcoming new product, PXL Ident for QES (Qualified Electronic Signatures), will be launched soon and will provide identity proofing for Trust Service Providers (TSPs). Swisscom will be the first TSP to integrate it into its signing platform, possibly by the end of this year. PXL Ident for QES will be certified by KPMG and is fully compliant with Swiss ZertES and EU eIDAS regulations.
This development will enable us to better serve both existing and new customers by offering a tailored solution for this important industry vertical. If you are already using Swisscom's Trust-Platform or are interested in starting a project, don't hesitate to contact us!
Introducing PXL Edu: Digital Identity Verification Solution for Education Sector
We are pleased to introduce our new standalone product: PXL Edu - seamless identity verification for the education & E-Learning industry.
Designed specifically for the education sector, PXL Edu streamlines online or in-person student registration processes, for public or private educational institutions. Our solution's simple workflow, a quick ID scan and a selfie video, can identify student ID documents from 165+ countries. It is designed to minimise manual effort and contribute to a positive UX.
PXL Edu has already been successfully implemented in the workflows of first customers. It can be combined with any online platform in minutes via a simple and easy-to-integrate API to automate processes and increase conversion rates.
Big changes are coming to our manual check tool. The upcoming redesign of PXL Check focuses on simplifying and improving the manual effort and user experience.

EVENTS & HAPPENINGS
it-sa Participation & Conference
Together with our trusted partner Airlock, we will be attending the trade fair it-sa, Europe's leading IT security exhibition, which takes place from 22-24 October in Nuremberg, Germany. You can find us in Hall 9, Booth 9-450, where we will be showcasing our identity verification and signing solutions.
In collaboration with Airlock, a leading provider of security and identity management solutions, we will address key challenges in Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM). We will explore how self-sovereign identity based on electronic identities will change the identity verification ecosystem in the future:
On 23 October, we will host a joint conference at it-sa entitled "The (R)evolution of Digital Identity". Our Chief Product Officer, Elmar Reif, will provide key insights into how eID will reshape identity verification, presenting both opportunities and challenges.

Customer Success Story: SwiPay
Our identity verification solution, PXL Ident is enhancing SwiPay's payment workflows in the highly regulated fintech sector. The results of the collaboration, including integration support from Salesforce and development support from our partner, Techforce Development, can be found in our latest case study.
Key collaboration highlights:
✔️ 97% reduction in Know Your Business (KYB) onboarding time.
✔️ Swipay now onboards customers within 48 hours, compared to the industry standard of 10–12 weeks.
Since February 2024, PXL Vision has been participating in a joint initiative with the Swiss research institute Idiap, supported by the Swiss innovation agency Innosuisse. The aim of this pioneering project is to develop and implement robust identity verification systems that can withstand emerging threats caused by artificial intelligence.
During this time, the teams have gained valuable insights, identified key challenges and set ambitious goals. Currently, the project is focused on three critical areas: detecting fraudulent identity documents, including identifying deepfakes in both facial and textual elements; developing solutions for facial deepfake detection; and mitigating bias in face verification.
These efforts are designed to protect businesses and individuals from AI-driven fraud, while strengthening the robustness of our core technology to ensure that its benefits are shared equitably among all users. We are encouraged by the significant progress made to date and look forward to sharing further updates and insights in the coming months.
