Our mission is to teach machines to see. But at this special time of year, as always, we focus on something more profound: restoring sight to those who need it most. We continue to support organisation Light for the World with a donation that truly changes lives - funding cataract surgeries to restore the gift of sight.
Through this initiative, PXL Vision has already enabled hundreds of people to see the world in brighter colours and will continue to do so in the future. The donation helps people with disabilities access appropriate medical care and supports sustainable change in local healthcare systems.
PXL Ident for QES: Audit and Certification Nearing Final Stages
Our product - PXL Ident for QES - is currently undergoing a KPMG-led audit and is on track for certification by early 2025. This marks a significant milestone, as it demonstrates compliance with ETSI TS 119 461 - the European standard for identity proofing, and positions the product to support compliance with eIDAS (for the EU) and ZertES (for Switzerland) frameworks for qualified electronic signatures.
Once certified, PXL Ident for QES will seamlessly integrate with the platforms of Trusted Service Providers (TSP) like Swisscom, to enable qualified electronic signature capabilities.

New Design for PXL Check has been Released
PXL Check is our web tool for reviewing, checking or changing the data generated by PXL Ident. The tool gives businesses the ability to perform manual reviews in order to optimise conversion rates. We are pleased to announce the release of its new design.

A Quarter Full of Trade Fairs
Networking is key to finding new potential projects. And what better place to do that than at trade shows and events?
This October, we exhibited at the it-sa Expo in Nuremberg, alongside our trusted partner Airlock, a leading provider of security and identity management solutions. The event was a fantastic platform to engage with industry leaders, share insights and demonstrate how to streamline onboarding and authentication processes while improving the customer experience and minimising security risks.
In addition, we also participated in Swiss Payment Forum 2024 in Zurich, BANKING 4.0 in Sinaia, and P19 Payment Festival in Vienna.
At it-sa Expo, our Chief Product Officer, Elmar Reif, delivered a compelling presentation entitled: "eID as an Opportunity and a Challenge for Identification Processes".
He explored the transformative potential of upcoming eIDs and how companies can create secure, user-friendly identification processes amidst evolving regulations and user expectations.
