PXL Ident for Swisscom QES is now available on the Swisscom Trust Services platform

Our product, PXL Ident for Swisscom QES is now officially available on the Swisscom Trust Services platform. Designed specifically for Swisscom’s Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) offering, the solution has been seamlessly integrated into the company’s Multiple Authentication Broker (MAB).

PXL Ident for Swisscom QES provides a user-friendly and secure identity verification experience, and can also be utilised for one-time electronic signatures. Aligned with international regulatory frameworks such as eIDAS and ZertES, it ensures legally binding, fraud-resistant verification.

QES for Swisscom workflow

This web-based identity proofing requires no app downloads, simplifying the user journey and enhancing conversion rates. Identification can be completed either fully automatically using NFC-enabled biometric documents, or via a secure semi-automated fallback process.

Swisscom Trust Services customers and partners can now select PXL Ident for e-signatures as their preferred Identity Proofing Service Provider (IPSP) for end-user identification.

Fraud Network Initiative: PXL Vision is building collective protection through shared intelligence

Fraud Network - 2NL

As digital identity verification becomes more established, the scale and complexity of fraudulent activity increases. However, access to reliable, actionable fraud intelligence remains limited. Organisations across industries are facing financial losses, operational costs and reputational risks.

To address this challenge, we are developing an international, cross-industry fraud protection network.

At the core of this initiative is a shared intelligence platform: a secure database of known fraudsters containing all relevant information. Members of the network can independently check customer activity against the database at any stage of the customer journey via an API connection. In the event of a match, real-time alerts are triggered to enable immediate action.

During the pilot phase, we successfully prevented more than 2,000 fraud attempts by running tests on the platform with partners from the telecommunications and financial services sectors.

At the moment we are focused on scaling up the platform and creating a sustainable business model that delivers value to all participants. Benefits include shared intelligence, early access to emerging fraud trends and structured incentives to support long-term collaboration.

If you are interested in early access or exploring a partnership, please get in touch.

Successful last migration from our first generation SaaS solution, which got replaced with PXL Ident

We are delighted to inform you that we have successfully migrated our last customer from our original platform to our flagship PXL Ident solution.

This final migration marks the end of an era, strengthening our commitment to providing fully automated, secure, and future-proof identity verification and electronic signature solutions. It also demonstrates our dedication to meeting the evolving needs of our customers.

We would like to thank our customers for their continued trust, and our teams for their exceptional efforts in achieving this milestone.

SUCCESS STORY

Streamlining identity verification at SBB travel centres with PXL Ident

We are proud to partner with SBB and share the success of our joint effort to digitise identity verification across their travel centres.

To ensure the swift and compliant processing of Western Union money transfers, SBB has implemented PXL Ident across its travel centres in Switzerland. The previous manual process has been replaced by an automated and scalable alternative that also meets the strict requirements of the Swiss Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA) while facilitating the efficient onboarding of Swiss and international customers.

Thanks to the white-labeling approach, the user interface has been fully aligned with SBB’s corporate design, thereby increasing user trust and internal acceptance.

Following the rollout process and close collaboration between the two teams, the solution now reliably operates under high transaction volumes, achieving
a 98 % success rate across barcode, ID and document scans.

Employees especially appreciate the intuitive user interface and system stability, both of which have significantly improved operational efficiency at the service counters.

Read our success story for more details about the use case and our collaboration.
