PRODUCT UPDATES

Launch of the brand new QES solution together with
Skribble and an announcement of the joint webinar.

PXL Sign Workflow

We have just launched a brand-new product, PXL Sign, which combines automated identity verification and Qualified Electronic Signatures (QES) into a seamless process. The signature part is provided by our partner Skribble, Switzerland’s market leader for electronic signatures.

This collaboration addresses one of the key challenges of today’s digital onboarding: the fragmentation between identification and e-signature steps.

PXL Sign follows the one-shot signature principle, where identification and QES processes are completed in one continuous workflow, eliminating the need for time-consuming, multi-step registrations on various platforms. This significantly speeds up the customer onboarding and makes it more user-friendly while ensuring the highest level of legal compliance and security. It brings measurable advantages for companies, particularly in the financial services and insurance industries, where every onboarding and contract counts.

To introduce the collaboration and this solution in depth, Skribble and PXL Vision are organising a joint webinar, “Express signing with maximum security,” on September 24 at 11:00 o'clock.

PXL Ident for QES joins A-Trust’s identity proofing providers.

As of last month, PXL Ident for QES has been officially integrated as an identity proofing provider on the A-Trust platform. A-Trust is Austria’s leading trust service provider and long-standing expert in secure digital identities and electronic signatures.

This means that customers can now opt for our solution to carry out seamless identity verification directly in their web browser via the A-Trust platform. The product is fully compliant with eIDAS regulations, therefore can be used to issue e-signatures that are legally equivalent to handwritten signatures.

This partnership highlights our shared dedication to ensuring secure, scalable and user-friendly onboarding and signature processes across Europe, enabling businesses to digitise workflows and securely onboard users anytime, anywhere.

COMPANY NEWS

PXL Vision undergoes first ZertES & eIDAS surveillance audit.

This year also marks an important compliance milestone, as PXL Vision undergoes its first surveillance audit to maintain its ZertES and eIDAS certifications. The audit covers our PXL Ident products for QES, as well as manual review processes with PXL Check.

The first stage, a documentation review, is already underway. The second stage, scheduled for October, will include on-site testing of processes, organisational structure, technical infrastructure, and administrative controls. These audits ensure that our solutions remain secure, reliable, and fully compliant.

“Security is not a one-time achievement, but an ongoing commitment. These audits help us continuously validate and improve our processes, enabling our customers to fully rely on the integrity of our products,” emphasises Dieter Renken, Chief Information Security Officer at PXL Vision.

PRESS

Upcoming Swiss eID Referendum and our clear YES to the Swiss Electronic Identity.

Swiss eID

This week, Switzerland will once again decide on the introduction of a national electronic identity (eID). We strongly support this initiative, as we recognise its potential to significantly advance digitalisation and enhance trust in online interactions. The Swiss eID represents an important step towards a trustworthy digital ecosystem, in which security and user experience go hand in hand.

However, it is important to recognise that not everyone will have or want an eID, especially in the early stages of its rollout. That is why companies need to prepare for both scenarios, offering seamless onboarding for all users with or without an eID, to remain inclusive and competitive.

In his latest article for Netzwoche, our co-founder and CBO Karim Nemr explored how the Swiss eID will unlock the full potential of Qualified Electronic Signatures and accelerate the digital transformation of financial services. He also outlined the technological and regulatory challenges that decision-makers must prepare for today.

Read his article, titled “eID as a catalyst for QES and the digital transformation of finance”, available in German.

EVENTS & HAPPENINGS

A Summer full of events and collaboration

Although summer is often a quiet time for events, it was a busy season for us. Our teams attended several key industry events, including the Global Digital Collaboration Conference in Geneva and the SBC Conference in Lisbon.

Internal Activities at PXL

Alongside our external engagements, we also invested in strengthening our internal culture last quarter: Highlights included our summer party in Zurich, where remote team members and PXLers’ families came together for tennis and delicious food; the employer branding kick-off in Hamburg; and, last but not least, the line managers’ workshop in Zurich this September.

These opportunities for exchange and alignment laid a strong foundation for the months ahead, helping us grow together as one team.
